What is the Adult Education Budget & Sector Skills Academy?

The Adult Education Budget government funded programmes, are a great way to kickstart or progress a career and is an effective way for individuals and employers to gain the skills and knowledge to progress careers. Sector Skills Academies provide access to funding for the delivery of education and training of learners aged 19 and over, allowing employers to upskill and refresh the skills of their employees, improving progression opportunities and overall business productivity.

How do we utilise Adult Education Budget funding to create Sector Skills Academies?

We create bespoke career pathways based on the number of hours the learner receives training from us to create Sector Skills Academies. This provides direct access to the knowledge and skills for a career that are linked to opportunities to gain accreditation in a vocation. Anyone learning via the Sector Skills Academy route, will be able to access all the teaching required to pass an assessment funded by the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). Learners will be taught through programmes both online and face to face, which will provide them with all the required knowledge and skills to be able to pass an assessment within their chosen discipline, that may be additionally funded by them or their employer to gain certification.
